Can We Have A Coral Of The Week Sub-section

Seffie recently started coral of the week threads in the marine section (corals and inverts).

These have been some great threads and its a good resource as it has a lot of user experiences in there. The problem is that the threads drop out of sight pretty quickly so i thought it would be really useful to a subsection in the corals and inverts section for "coral of the week" just for these posts.

Alternatively a stick post with links to all the coral of the week threads would work as well.

Just a shame to have a good source of information drop out of sight.

We would all have to agree that seffie made the topics though, unless she says otherwise.
As it was her idea, and personally I think she does it quite good.

totally agree, wasn't suggesting anything more than either moving them all into one section or making a sticky post that links to them all so we can find them easier.

We this week started a fish of the week too.

These really would be very useful for beginners. These do tell you what the books say about the individual species, but also we include many photographs and personal experiences.

They often seeem to end in a nice discussion too.

It has been well thought out and very well participated in.

Please.

I think they should be stickied somewhere too. Maybe pin it here: Fish Species Index > Saltwater - Corals and Anemones

at the top? This would keep all the info together. Since the mushies talks about a wide range of these types of coral we can't really attach it to a single coral profile.

Guys, if you want some help w/creating these coral of the week or which ever, let me know. I do have the Borneman book as well. Share the work load if you want

Best only a few book quotes and more personal experiences involved...they don't always go by what it says in the book i'm afraid,lol..
What keepers have found by experience is a lot more valuable in these sections i think

not to cause an argument, but I've started a tropical fish of the week too and in the post it says all credit goes to seffieuk for this and links to her corals etc... I think it would be a good idea to pin the threads in the fish index tropical section/.

no i dont think you under stand me...if all the fish of the month things were pinned we would have loads to scroll through...instead putting links to them in a thread would work better IMO

Well you have to scroll through loads of fish profiles to get to the one you want...
