can u use medication while u haf ur baby fishies?

hi, when i use medication for fungus, some of my fish died for no reaason..
do u think it was the medicain which kill the fish?

yes. most folks use a medi tank to individually treat fish so other fish arnt accidently harmed. baby fish almost always die if they are exposed to and kind of treatment chemicals. im sry u had to learn the hard way next time u treat a specific fish put it in another tank by itself b4 u treat him.

I had a parasite (ICH) breakout, and a White slimy worms on side of tank with newborns and both times i medicated and all the fish were fine.

Guppy fry are pretty hardy. I would say the reason your fry died was because of the disease instead of the medication. For younger fry they have less time for you to treat. I've treated with coppersafe, melafix, salt and a few others can't quiet remember and my fry are still alive.
