You may have asked this in your other post but just in case you didn't. I'm not much of a believer in the "bacteria in a bottle" products. They are usually shipped in trailers where temperatures can reach 140F or higher, stored in warehouses that can be just as hot and then sold on store shelves where they may sit for months. Most don't even have a "Sell By" date. I don't see haw any bacteria could survive that. From all I have read, they don't work. Bio Spira is one that does work as long as it has been properly shipped (on refrigerated trucks) and stored (in refrigeration). It should also be refrigerated at your LFS. The bacteria apparently are in a dormant state at those temperatures and become active again once added to a tank and warm water. I do intend to test all of these producs to see if any do any good.
