Sorry not sure what that link was meant to show or who's at school?

Good discussion of the common A. cirrhosus species (common and longfins)

There are some reports of them breeding smaller clutches, eating less wood, having some problems swimming when older. Nothing conclusive.

From that page

'So what you’ll find is Ancistrus sp cirrhosus is the Bristlenose that’s most commonly found in live fish shops and is sold as algae eaters for large community tanks. Ancistrus sp cirrhosus is usually brown with spots but you can also find Albinos as well. Then to divide the species up even further there are shortfin and longfin varieties each of which come in the normal brown colour and the albino colour as well.

Therefore within the species cirrhosus you’ll commonly find that the different varieties are referred to as;

Common Bristlenose – brown shortfin
Albino Bristlenose – albino shortfin
Common Longfin – brown longfin
Albino Longfin – albino longfin
Then you can also get a Marble variety, plus other colour varieties as well.'

I eat more meat than my friend, some people have twins, Usain Bolt runs faster than me

We are all still Homo sapiens.

I am not surprised that longfin/veiltail have trouble swimming when older, they are a man made freak of a fish, doesn't make them a different species.

Being selectively bred to such extreme forms, it is not surprising there are reports of smaller clutches.

Class dismissed.

ok now now. this is a rescue pleco I think you both have given god add vice please don't fight on my post.

Class dismissed.

Not quite, you seem to have confused Breed/Subsp with Species. A breed is a consistent set of traits which one population of a species has (Like bulldogs) a subspecies is just a better established breed. But different breeds cna have different requirements even though they're the same species.
