I have my two little bronze corys, and they seem to be doing okay, I'd like to add more to my cory family. I am drawn to the trilineatus corys and I was wondering if they would school with my bronzes,

Thanks.

Hi,

I have loads of different types of corys together but only similar looking fish tend to stick together, sometimes they will all shoal but usually they stay in smaller groups. If you have the room get another bronze and a trio of a different type.

Hi Jinxxie :)

All corys get along well together, but if you want to see them swim up and down the glass playing with each other, stick to a single species.

Your bronze corys are C. aeneus, and this species comes in albino too. Both are readily available in most lfs and for a little variety in your tank, I'd suggest that you get some of them. :D

mine didnt really hang out together. i had some BIG aeneus cories, smaller albino aeneus9?) that were much smaller and a pygmy albino. i think it had to do with teh size difference though

I have 3 different species of cories, Albino ones, Julii ones and some green-ish ones (I have no idea what they're scientific names are) and they all get along quite well. I split them up not too long ago and added 3 of the Julii cories to my betta tank because I had six in my other tank, and they sort of follow my betta around now, except when he's at the very top of the tank. Cories are pretty social. :)

I've got 2 trilineatus corys, and 1 bronze cory in my 10 gallon, and all three shoal with eachother.

Ive peppered/albino/bronze and pandas all living happily together and tonight one of the peppereds was up playing with the pandas in the air curtain :)
