I have loads, like maggots and chrysillis.
I was just wondering if aquarium fish would eat them/has anyone tried it?

Yeh id image feeding white ones would be alright, wouldnt try the reds though, may be alright for a 1 off but im not sure about the long term effects of dyed foods.

it should be right i used to feed mine them i used to go fishing loads so any maggots left id give to fish they loved em
just make sure they eat what you put in. and not to give long term like SJ2K says :) ok now and again

Dont get the dyed maggots from the anglers store.
Depends on what you are feeding, most fish will ignore thenm unless you have large cichlids.
I fed chopped ones to my larger Killifish sp. at the time namely Fundulopanchax sjoestedti.
For smaller fish try mealworms.

As stated above, only feed the white non dyed ones, also don't feed too many, they are extremely fatty and rich, so should only be fed as a treat now and again.

Cheers, Karl
