*bad fish keeper alert*

I have 2 of these fishies in my tank and i can't for the life of me remember what they're called
Don't worry i asked advise at my LFS when i got them to find out if they'd be suitable etc

So.....anyone know what they are?

I can tell you it's some kind of catfish/bottom feeder.

Looks pleccy to me, but a clearer pic will help the plec people give you a better indication of which L number it is.

that was the best of many, sorry, my camera is on the blink and i took this with my phone. They look like some kind of catfish, they're shy and peaceful and always on the bottom of the tank.

The markings on the head are really striking, like an aztec pattern!
i've been trawling google images, i had no idea there were so many different catfish!

It appears to be some type of Synodontis.

They own a lot of plecs. I only own otos and BNs.

Thanks guys, i'm now searching google for Synodontis pics and they seem to be on the right track, i've seen a couple of very similar ones just not with these markings

Its not a plec, looks like a Synodontis ornatipinnis to me but has some extraordinary markings,

you've certainly come across a gem with those , I'm officially jealous

the guy in my LFS did say they were pretty rare, i might pop in tomorrow to ask what they are.

I think they're beautiful too i'll try and get some better pics when my camera is fixed.
