Is this your fish ?

Keep an eye on the puffer , which turns out to be a brackish water fish BTW.

Thomosis are actually an African cichlid , but are more similar to new worlds than rift lake cichlids .

Pretty easy to care for as well .

nope, not a jewel
deff. a Thomasi.
they both come from west africa though

Could be a new born blue ram, as it hasnt developed most of its 'black' yet, but i can see the hint of the red on the fins.

It's a thomosi , I have 2 now and kept them several times in the past , as well as their larger cousin the Jewel cichlid [ both west African ciclids ] .

I kept Rams as well .


Rams are AKA Dwarf butterfly cichlids........thomosis are AKA the African dwarf butterfly cichlid . So I could understand any confusion

yeah lucky 62 is right. It is an African Butterfly Cichlid.
