Can A "marine" Classified Be Added?

from a totally un-bias opinion,(as i don't have anything with salt involved!)
i could imagine it being a good idea, there is a marine section in the forum so obviously the mods etc. do try and cater for the marine side of fish keeping. i think its a perfectly good idea to have a marine classifieds!

plants should be kept seperate, the UK plant and aquascaping scene is growing so it will only cause problems later.

plants aren't livestock in the same respect as a fish is, and i think making stupid comments like that is just looking for an argument.
I think they should put a marine classifieds in the marine section, separate from the existent classifieds section, so as not to cause confusion.

plants are infact livestock, they respire, just like a fish would so are therefor live stock

and it wouldnt reduce the effectivness of the forum like dividing it up to the extent it is now

So plants seperate but marine not??? Think some people should give everyone some respect as it is a mixed forum.... if you took time you would also notice that the marine section is steadily growing at present with more serious marine keepers popping onto it.

i think there should be a marine section, but it should be placed with the exsisting categories such as plants and live stock, even though i really dont think its necessary for a separate plants and live stock section, if they were put in the same forum it would get more traffic and more potential buyers

This implicating that we dont belong in here then This is turning into another "clubs " thread here...think i may just sign off here until sanity and decency returns

Most of us "marine keepers" have kept fresh waters for years as well...can the same be said in reverse

im implying that this forum was set up for tropical members and fishkeepers only. Then the marine section was added and now a classified section?
people could just join a marine and tropical forum or just a pure marine one, there is enough of them around.
if it was meant to be for marines as well, it would be called tropical and marine forums
i think its almost cheeky its like asking someone to give up their seat on a bus (and then you get it) and then asking another person to give theirs up so you can put your bag on a seat.

i dont want to come accross as harsh but you joined this forum knowing that it is mostly a tropical forum.

So, what exactly would be put in a marine section that couldn't be put elsewhere?

Marine fish? Well, call me Blindy McBlind but a casual search doesn't throw up more than one or two. No coral entries either.
Marine equipment? Generally everything is interchangeable. A couple of exceptions, but that is definitely not enough to warrant more needless division.

Marine IS TROPICAL, just with the addition of salt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT DOES NOT SAY FRESHWATER FISH FORUM DOES IT!!!!

I agree with Buddy.

TOO MANY KIDS WITH BIG GOBS ON THIS SITE and too many people argueing among themselves over STUPID clubs.
