C.aeneus (albino), Gravid Spot? Updated With Pic

Iv started to notice a difference in the 3 i have. 2 of them have grown larger than the other one, so i think i got lucky with 2 females and a male :)

Poor little fella will have a hard time keeping up with his ladies, but I suppose he won't mind. ;) At first it may lower the viability ratio of the eggs. But aeneus aren't shy about spawning. They will give you enough to do the job.

Well i did a 30% water change wit cooler water, also dropped the PH by 0.2

No spawnings and the patches have dissapeared.... Maybe it was food? They had eaten catfish pellets earlier.

Which cat fish pellets did you feel them? Have you given them any blood worms? I see in my pic, they were eating blood worms.

:good:

Here is a link to an old thread where CFC says the same as I did, that Corys don't have gravid spots; they get round and plump.

Link hasnt shown Sue?

Also they do get bloodworm every week. Cant remember if thats what they had that morning >.< They get Hikari pellets.

Our's get Hikari catfish wafers and JMC pellets.

I've checked out Planet catfish pics too, and there are a couple there with light patches.
