buying a tank on the internet.

I am looking to buy anothher tank setup probably about 30- 50 u.s gallons. I want to get a good deal and have been looking at local stores. Does anyone know any good sites on the internet to buy a tank and are they dependable?

In most cases you are not going to save money buying a tank on the internet due the shipping weight and fragility. If you can't find a retail outfit that's reasonably priced (check Walmart, btw), try looking around to see if you can get one second hand by looking at yard sales, classified ads, aquabid, etc.

Yeah ebay is cool but beware most of them are collection only so look out for a local seller.

They kill you with shipping on ebay. Unless you are in the same town that they are selling tank!

actually. petsmart has reasonable tanks. i got my 20 gallon (u.s.) for 80 bucks, including a heater, power 20 filter, and a hood with flouresent light. it also had small things like a net, some food samples, and some stress zyme and stress coat.

i was just on ebay, and there were LOTS of tanks of various sizes in new york. no shipping cause it is local pick up. unfortunatley i live in florida
