Some pics of one of my "pico" reefs which is just under 5G. This one has lots of mushrooms, zoanthids and other polyps, a baby scooter blenny, 2 hermits and a turbo snail. Filtered by a Resun internal filter (with spray bar) and a nano 25W heater. Lighting from an 11W Compact T5.

Ben :)

Looks Great!

Just worried about that scooter blenny :look:
How long have you had him and how do you plan to feed him?
Very cute fish though :)

Well, i let the tank since about December last year so that there are loads of copeopods and the like in the tank for it to feed off.

I made sure i got one from work that was already feeding on plankton so I have that as a backup.

I've had him for a while know, not sure exactly but its probably just under a month. He's about 1". I wanted to wait until I was happy with the tank before i posted any pics though.

He probably won't stay in there as I am planning to get a new bigger tank to transfer my 15G nano into he will probably go into there when I do if i'm not happy with him in the pico. I'm looking into a 15"Hx18"x24" tank which would be about 23 Gallons.

Already explained about the scooter, and hey, if i cant get another tank up and running in time I can always take it back to work where we have 42 tanks, or put it in my friends 4x2x2 reef.

Thanks for the nice comments anyway.

I will when i get a picture of it that I am actually happy with it, the above pictures are VERY poor by my standards, I wouldnt want to tarnish our members tanks thread with such shoddy photos :p

No not at all. Very poor picture of the scooter infact. He is just naturally very colourful. Has a beautiful pink tail and edging to his pectorals.

Pics of my 2nd "PICO" reef will appear soon... It's another 5 Gallon tank, this time an "Aqua-40".

Over the next 6 months however I am thinking of moving my 15G Nano into a 20G 2ft tank so keep posted for that..
