bumble bee gobi's

I fed mine frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms. They did perfer live foods.

Frozen foods can be used as a substitute for live foods, in most cases when something says a fish will only take live foods what it really means is they wont take flake and pellet foods.

Mine take flakes. As long as there is a current in your tank so the food moves around...its the movement that the gobies are attracted to.

I have some and they will take food is it is moving. They will take Hikari Micro Pellets, but they prefer Blood Worm.

Mine will hit the flakes, but spit them out.

What does work for us is frozen brine shrimp. I slice up the cubes of it with a razor blade to make smaller pieces and defrost it in a small cup with warm water. I then pour in a little of the "soup" at a time. The pieces move around in the filter current and the gobies seem to like them quite a lot, as do the rest of our fish.

Bumble bee gobies ate your fish!!!! They must have been very small fish

Bumble bee gobies are better kept with of semi aggresive fish like puffers as they can be fin nippers but ive never heard of one eating anything larger than guppy fry.

they can be fin nippers

ok so they didnt eat the other fish... just their fins and then chased the poor little buggers until they died...
they used to hunt in a group (we had 4 i think) and they would systematically hastle the same fish...

:/

Mine have not been aggressive toward the other fish that we have ever seen, at least not yet.
