Yes to the F8puffer

No to the GSP

GSP needs higher salinity than either the f8 or the BBG'S, and has a tendance to be more aggressive.

SLC

Incase you haddent noticed you shouldn't have a f8 and a GSP together either.

Yep that is true - what size tank have you got them in?

F8s need a sg of around 1.005, and bbgs will do fine in that. GSPs need a higher sg, anything upto and including marine conditions is best.
I have never kept a GSP, but i have heard they can be nasty little blighters, especially if kept with unsuitable tankmates.

Please tell me you havent got a Fig8 and a GSP in the same tank?

GSP grow to 15cm and require salinity or about 1.015 where Fig8's grow to about 8cm and require about 1.005. GSP are active and rather aggresive and will probably attack the smaller weaker Fig8

In addition, I wouldn't suggest going out and purchasing a BBG. But if this is a matter of "I've got one, now what?", then let me say I have had success with a single BBG and a single GSP kept in a 55g tank at 1.008sg. That said, I have no intention of keeping them together like this forever. The BBG and GSP leave each other alone, however the GSP is still a juvenile.

Of course, that's just me, and I've been [knock on wood] lucky [/knock].

Since you seem to have the ultimate responsibility of separating the puffers, I would take care of that first, then look into including BBGs in your low-end brackish tank.
