Building A Pond Hopefully!

After reading the oscar diary thing in the coldwater n pond section i am inspired to build me own lol!!! look at it, tis awesome!!!

So anyway i want to build my own pond for fish and i know nothing about it!!! Will research into books n that but i know it is nothing like the experience of all u geniuses!!!

So can anyone give info on building a pond in the backgarden of a birmingham house in england? I know its freeeeeezin sometimes but i will get heater of somethin. . .

It would probably be better to move this to the pond section seeing as most of the members there builst their own ponds anyways. I on the other hand have no idea how to build a pond seeing as I have never built one.

it would be impossible to keep any tropical fish in the backgarden in the uk even in the summer the weather is unpredictable so you would only be able to keep fish such as goldfish or koi if you have a good size pond and very good water quality
