Hi,
I have recently decided to reignite my old tank, previously home to a group of guppies. The tank is a decent size (180L), with very healthy aquascape consisting of driftwood, aqua moss and a variety of plants embedded in a fine gravel substrate (~0.75mm).
I am currently cycling the tank in anticipation of stocking over the coming couple days and wanted to open the floor to suggestions on what to keep in it. With my current situation, a ‘low maintenance’ tank would be ideal - Minimal water cycles and cleaning required for maximum enjoyment.
I intend on stocking the tank with 2-3 Bristlenose catfish and a school of Cory’s however that is as far as my decisioning had taken me. I am keen to get some larger fish in the mix but want a more active tank without any potential bullying. Previously I have managed this with Rams and Kribs however both being bottom dwellers it had caused issues with keeping Cory’s.
Let me know if you have any suggestions and ideas. I’ll update this post with some pics for reference tomorrow.
Thanks,
Pesce.
