At night, my bubble coral's bubbles turn into short little "tentacle"-like things, and since they werent long, I just assumed that it didnt feel like it needed to defend territory because they didnt look like sweeper tentacles to me. The closest coral is 4 inches away, and the bubble coral is still pretty small, so it probably doesnt think it has to compete for space.
Right now, it looks exactly like there are two shrimp antennae sticking out of the mouth, but both of my shrimp are fine and have all their tentacles, so I know it didnt try to eat one or anything wierd like that. All the bubbles are out on the coral as well.
My question is, could these be sweeper tentacles? Or what could they be, because they dont look like tentacles to me and they are very straight and dont sway. Plus, the lights have been on for 2 hours already.
