thanx :)

im not sure what the plant is, it grows in between the cement on a side of my house where the water pools, i put a lil tuft in on day 7, the first few days a few leaves died, then the plant started growing, 3 days later when i took it out of the gravel, it had attached it self so some of the pebbles.

Lighting is the stock lamp, 13 watt fluorescent
ferts, im using api leaf zone and flourish excel
and the substrate is gravel

i chose low light, and plants that can draw nutrients from the water to keep the set up low tech

hello again, why not go for some larger plants at the back?

im considering some larger plants, i have some wisteria in my 3 gallon im thinking putting in there, but im not real fond of the way wisteria looks, any recomendation for a tall low light plant?

if you want a good stem plant that grows well, i'd go for hygrophila polysperma.

There are several other options: Bacopa monnieri (Moneywort)
Cabomba caroliniana (Cabomba)- this species is the least demanding
Cardamine lyrata (Pennywort)
Ceratophyllum demersum (Hornwort)

Personally I do like the look of Hygroformis diformis (Wisteria), but everybody has their own preferences.

so i transfered some of the wisteria to my tank and moved some of the plants around, my frayed leaf java fern is about to explode with lil babys, so ill use some of those to fill in some of the spots, ill also use some of the cuttings from the wisteria to fill in the spots.

i dont like the way the wisteria looks now, found out it only looks like that cause it was grown emersed, and that it will look much better imo, once the new leaves start comming out (it already started)

Good start. Yes, sometimes plants take a while to convert from emersed to submerged growth. How is that plant doing that you have growing on the wood? You got it from your yard? If you could get a close-up picture, that would be great.

i removed the plant from the tree, it was just growing straight up, and the bottom leaves started turning black.

since my java ferns are about to explode with new plants, i think om going to use some of those babies to leaf the tree
