We know in nature hundreds of eggs are laid, so one survives to adulthood. But we don't have to like it.

Sorry Spouse.  Having three big healthy cory babes is a great thing .  It's still sad, I know. I was almost depressed when I lost my all of mine 

 so I know it's tough.
