Bristlenose Up And Dying

We have several smallish Bristlenose and today we found a larger one dead
Why do fish that look happy, fed well, water good, etc just up and die
Is there a hidden nasty that we dont know about

A lot of BN are geneticaly weak due to overbreeding and inbreeding. A had a group of 4 young 1 inch BN and only half of them survived to adult size. Again no sign of illness. Like yours, they just suddenly died for no apparent reason. Once they reach 2in they should be OK, it's mostly tiny BN fry that die in large numbers
