Bought the one I had my eye on yesterday. Has long bristles so my daughter says he's ugly and needs a shave! Are they supposed to be active in the daytime at all? He was upside down attached to the inside top of a log all yesterday and is there today but assume he came out in the night. Disappointed if you never see them!
a lot of plecos are like this as they are nocturnal fish. some are very beautifull but you just never see them if you give them places to hide.... thats just the way they are im affraid.... ive not seen 1 of my L333's for about a month until this week when i caught it to sell on and its grown quite a bit since i last saw it! this is the reason im selling mine as they are big waste producers and you never get to see them.
i also have some pitbull plecs that are always out and about cleaning the algae from the tank and plants, i also see quite a lot of my bn too. maybe he is just getting use to the new surroundings
