Or you could do what I did and have the best of both worlds... get a pair of L255. They were sold as Bristlenose Peppermint Plecs. They are so cool. My male has the biggest beard I have seen. Will try and get some pics.

OMG I would so set up 55 gallon just to have that pleco. He looks amazing. I love Medusa head plecos, and to have the markings of a peppermint!
I had a Medusa head but he died.
I cried and my hubby thought I was completely mad!
They really did not know what they had!

Where in the world did you buy them?
