They are so cute Are you going to have to sell them?? Do they have bristles yet or do they grow when they are older. I've never though of breeding plecs but they are so cool

they start getting bristles when the get to about 2 inches...

our male is about 3.5 now and has a cute mix of bristles

Well my male is 3 inches and he has long branched bristles on his nose....he has had them sinc he was about 2 inches (just smaller)....my female is 4 inches and she has none....not even small ones....NOTHING...

The fry are too small to see if they have bristles or not....
