thanks :) i have counted about 30-40 all good so far but the last time they spawned there was 60 fry that survived a good few died because of my old filter :(

My 2 have just bred and I've got 40ish babies which are now all over the place! How old are yours now? Mine are only 12 days and left dads hideout at the weekend.

Plus I was just looking at what to feed them and found someones post about them dying, even at 3cm. You lost many?

What did you raise them on?

hey mine are about 6weeks old i think :)

i have around 100 now

i feed them on algae, algae wafers, catfish pellets, courgette, potato :)

wbu ?

100?!?! More spawns?

I've been dropping in mini algae wafers and tried a bit of carrot last night. No-ones been overly interested in that though by the look of it.

Are they all in the same tank? If so, how badly do they impact the filter?

Plus have you lost many?

As bn grow/age the size of the spawns will increase. When I finally lost my female (after about 9 years of spawning) the last spawn they had was over 100 fry. Here she is

You can feed bn fry pretty much the same things you would feed the parents, just less.
