Bristlenose Fry Feeding :)

As bn grow/age the size of the spawns will increase. When I finally lost my female (after about 9 years of spawning) the last spawn they had was over 100 fry. Here she is

You can feed bn fry pretty much the same things you would feed the parents, just less.
agree on this !! :) yea i think it was all the same spawn

100?!?! More spawns?

I've been dropping in mini algae wafers and tried a bit of carrot last night. No-ones been overly interested in that though by the look of it.

Are they all in the same tank? If so, how badly do they impact the filter?

Plus have you lost many?

try some courgette it seems to be a favorite for mine (parents and fry):)

i have moved some to a 60L but if i did keep them in the same tank my tank is over filtered so it should be ok ! :) its 1000 Lph and my tank is only a 110L !

i have lost in total nearly ten probably

Good luck !

Just fed mine frozen brine shrimp with garlic..... they love it :good:

Mine are still going strong, nearly 5 weeks now! Not found any dead yet and frequently water changing, moving ornaments around to see if any are. Plus I spotted a clump of eggs the other week which I presumed were unfertilised as dad had pushed them out of his hideout. Then I saw him paying them attention still so moved them back to safety. Batch 2, 9 days old! Now they're leaving the hideout, it's Bristlenose chaos in there! What age can you sell them on/give them away?

Pfft, at first I thought you said that you were feeding them some cigarettes! They're adorable though ^_^
