Bristlenose Catfish

Hey guys i have a bristlenose catfish.. Are they normally shy? As soon as My partner or myself go near the tank it hides its only young maybe a
inch long

Iv got two one is out sometimes trough the day don't see him much and my other one I never see him until I do a water change

They are nocturnal. Best way to see him is turn the lights out for awhile then turn them back on, chances are it'll be out or on the glass. Mine is the same way, very jumpy

They are not completely nocturnal they will come out during the day to eat or as he gets older to defend his territory.

Is he a new addition Miss.Ward? if so it will take him a while to settle and get used to his new surroundings, my lot *and that is a lot!* are nearly always out
