I have just gottena brislenose pleco and already have a Leopard Frog Pleco(L134), will it be ok to have the two in the same tank?

I have a 55 Gallon, 4ft long tank. The bristlenose tried to make a home in my leopard frog pleco's cave yesterday but he just nudged him out of the cave. I have a couple other hiding spots in the tank and a big peice of bogwood(My raphael cat calls the bogwood home). I can move the Bristlnose to another tank but I thought he would like the room better in my 55 gallon.

The tank is plenty big enough, perhaps some more wood/decor for hiding places but that tank can definately accomodate them both.

I agree with Mike. As long as they have plenty of caves and hiding places, they'll be fine.

I had Leopard frog in my 140L (3.5 ft) along with a female BN them 2 were fine together. Also has a clown plec and rubbernose in the same tank, they sometimes didn`t see eye to eye at feeding time but after that they went to their own caves and that was that! I have just upgraded to a 290L (77 us gal) and all 4 hide under the same lump of wood, again with no problems :good:
