Bri's Smaller tanks-(20 & 25l's)

18th June 2019
Couldn't do nothing with the 5 pregnant guppy's, so least a couple of mops and java moss in places.
Ok survival rate is going to be a miracle....

If I can catch the bleeders roflmao maybe this would work..

But in my mind i'm thinking "Do I want ATM fry?" we don't know how they going to turn out! will they be crossed with the black male? or not.
To be totally honest I fancy once the smaller tanks are sorted, putting the male in to the lager tank and get a pair of fancy guppys.
Then the male put into the other one.
We'll see.... roflmao roflmao.
Still need to sort out the tall 25l tank, as the bog wood disappeared lol.

:( I wasn't liking putting her in the tank, it was really skittish n mean really....
So back in the the big tank.

Just let it naturally sort the pregnant guppy's and if any fry survive.
The 25l is still cycling :censored2:

Morning all.

The cycling of the small tanks are truly a PITA

One minute think one getting there...then boooshh! like the other day!
Ammonia-0
N2- 0
N3- 20
always dose 2ml ammonia in one 24hr.
18l tank

Had to replace the dbl sponge filter to an old filter-(i'll get the name in a mo..my brain but fuzzy) as the air pump is on its way out.
25l tank
This was actually the most promising tank.....until think stalled.

i'm not getting hung up roflmao roflmao roflmao part n parcel of the hobby...…

………..BUT wish the bigger vtank will sort out, my Betta *fish* is nearly getting picked roflmao.
Ap[art from that, only change is getting a 3mm see through screen for the big tank

the condensation is better.

Been a exiting couple of days.
*fish* fry in the tall tank (25l) rescued from the big tank.
It started in the 25l one, I saw a little fry.... thumbsup4.
As you know it was a plant cycled tank...lol.
the fry must of came from transferred plants.
Any ways got LUCKY and 10 guppy fry's ATM.
Couldn't be on trying to net in the big tank.
So got loads and loads of cover.
But there's always a tendency just to try a net one, specially in the morn.
11 fry will do for me, keeps my brain active, what's left of it lol.
i've got the 18l tank set up for Neon spawning, almond leaves, hatching mops and the temp adjusted and will do the ph level soon.
Conditioning them for about a week so far.
But catching the bleeders is another joke....I give up few times...stressed them and other fish...……….so plan B.
Paul or Shane at my local will guarantee least female and male pair if I can, and acclimate them good n proper.
And see what happens after a week of conditioning lol.

Now they are taking shape, just.
some are mixed with the male and the ginger ones, a few just the ginger.
But i'll see in time.

Still have see fry from the three ones.

Lost one Cherry shrimp :(, just small one...
The Neon with the ulcer on the mouth is still holding on..seems the Alpha male neon with the fin rot is recovering slightly, only three days into dosing the meds.
Lucky2 in the big tanks is holding its own, not getting eating by others lol.
I wouldn't says out of the woods (guppy grass etc. lol) just yet.
Thinking this tank is going to house shrimps....but only 18-20l.
Obviously if I put 5 in...in time breed I'll want a bigger tank.... roflmao
MTS *applause*
Its crazy spending time with the fry tank and look at the big tank, the fish look massive roflmao.

Youu should enter one of your smaller tanks in our totm contest. You are eligible in August since you won with your larger tank in May. A winner of a totm contest must skip the next two contests before he can then can enter a different tank in totm contest.

Thanks so much guys n girls, really appreciate your support and keeping on the straight n narrow!
But today after new medication kicked in I need your help!!! :(
I made a Video (maybe long winded to get the answer Yes or no!
As I said at the end Doubt is  hahaha!!!
I don't mind helping for help...looks like a norm for me
Thanks very much
Brian

The only fry I've ever had are livebearers! But wouldn't a neon be showing colours by now? The shape is right for a tetra but now it is past the baby stage, the lack of colour has me thinking it can't be a neon of any variety. :-(

can you post a normal plain old boring picture of the fish in the video?
it could be a white cloud mountain minnow or a danio.

Thank you very much,
I can try but as you can see my mobile isn't the top of the range and the USER is a bit useless lol.
The pics I had is from video stills as taking a normal pic was nearly impossible.
