I noticed Red Clawed Shrimp are quite uncommon. Would it be worth trying to breed them? Unfortunately I think I have 3 males, but if I can get ahold of females, do you all think I could pay off the cost of the setup by selling? I see someone online is selling them for $5 per shrimp. My LFS had them once and I bought them for $5, but never again did I see them.

Thanks

very very worth a shot =)
you should sale lower like 3-4$ a piece so you get more customers =)

Very cool. I will have an empty 20 gallon as soon as I get some Angel fry(or give up on angel fry). I hope one of my guy is a girl. I also should get some nice babies, as my alpha male is HUGE. I have never seen a picture of one online that is close to the size of mine. The claws are kinda scary.

Thanks

Ok, does anyone know a way to know 100% you have a female? I just found one.... baby shrimp. On a not so happy note, I only found one and now its missing. But its 2mm in a decent size tank... so not sure if its alive or not.

EDIT: Found him again. So theres 1 at least still!
