I moved one of the female out of the community tank into the breeding tank (10g)about a month ago, and 3 weeks ago she gave birth. As soon as this was complete, she was moved back to the community tank. I saw 3 dead and 4 are still alive (I guess others were eaten).
She will probably give birth again in about 7-10 days from now. I'm looking at the 4 fries and they look quite big - about 1cm or more, all of them are pretty fat. (Been feeding BBS about 4 days per week). Am I risking these fries by moving the same female back into this tank? The tank has a good sized java moss "ball" but if she will eat, I don't want to put her in... The fries look little too fat to fit in her mouth...
