Breeding Bettas

Hello i am new to this forum and new to the world of bettas however i am an avid freshwater tropical fish keeper with experience in simple guppies,platy,molly tanks as well as having bala shark angel fish tank. i bought a betta and it has facinated me to the point im interested in breeding them. is there a good site or does anyone have any pointers. now i know that ill have to have several tanks for this but any idea the size tanks or anything special i need in them? ive included a picture of his current setup with him working on his bubble nest. his tank is heated, no water current, has a small led light and i have a jug of water with prime in it set aside for his partial water changes. any other information i need to know?

What size is his tank, it looks very much on the small side??

if u go to the top of the section under feq asked questions it underlines it... over all, a ton of, money time, tanks, waterchanges and troble!!! lol its very hard also very rewarding! but the set up takes alot at least a 20 gal grow out 3 20's is my preference and jars, / jugs for all the fry, how to heat said jars, live food for the fry, what to do with all the babies once ther grown .

and on another note what size tank is that , if its the one i think it is its not even a half gal, if it the asain thingi that had a fake bamboo in it, and adult betta needs at least, and i stress least, 1 gal. a 3 gal is prefered min and 5 is best, but in a cup as small as i think that one is... ud need to do daily water changes and that can be stressful to the fish, a biger tank with a slow outlet filter would be best to even start keeping a betta in.

this tank is one gallon i think, but i have a 10, a 29,a 55, and a 75 gallon the 29 is currently not in use and is able to be divided that would be the one i breed with. i also have the little net from when my guppies had their last fry. the only problem i have with the bigger tank (hense the small tank) is that he wont bubble nest in any other tank but that one. he likes it there i guess. i thought the tank was too small too, but he is the most active and builds his bubble nest in that particular tank.
