WILDER said:OK.
I would use Seachem Metronidazole, or Seachem Kanaplex.
They might knock your water stats.
WILDER said:It's more the parasite medications with corys.
If you have inverts I would remove them.
It would be far better to treat him on his own.
He going down hill fast so need to act fast. As I don't think there much left in the poor little guy.
Also soak his food in garlic.
Keep fingers crossed for you.
Good Luck.
Do you mind letting me know how he gets on as I've fallen in love with him.
WILDER said:Which medication would you suggest sawickib in these 2.
I would use Seachem Metronidazole, or Seachem Kanaplex.
I think the Seachem Kanaplex will be more safe.
I have never used them.
Seachem Metronidazole,
I know that this med is for internal parasites and also treat bacterial infections.
I have heard of Kanaplex but had to look it up. Did a vet prescribe it?
WILDER said:If you can isolate I would use Seachem Metronidazole, Though it does depend on which internal parasite a fish has.
If you can't isolate I would use the Kanaplex.
I fed my fish antibiotics.
All you do is crush the antibiotic up and mix with food.
Get an egg and separate the yoke and use the white of the egg. Roll the food and antibiotic mix in egg white.
Put in fridge to set for half an hour. It's been a very long time since I had to do this.
Antibiotic injections are also far better but you can't go and take a neon tetra to the vet.
