Bolivian Ram Advice Please

hi everyone just need a little bit of advice,ive got to bolivian rams in a 36 gallon tank it it fully decorated with plants bogwood and caves in there.the problem is that ive had to seperate the two because i looked in the tank to find one had a big lump on its cheek i thought it was disease but then looked a little longer to see both of them squaring up to each other so my question is does this mean they are both males if so could i possibly put to females in there would they carm down because at the moment it seems strange but they look like they are missing each other.i would put pictures up but 1 they wont sit still long enough and 2.im not at home till saturday.hopefully someone will help me as im in a bit of a pickle :unsure: thanks in advance :good:
 
well ive looked at both german rams and it seems ive got two males by the way sorry i put bolivians but they arent :D ill i need to ask you guys is is this lump on the side of his mouth infection or one bad nip from the other fish because the other fish has got a few nips but not as bad as this one anyways ill shut up now and let you decide lol

Thats wierd :crazy: Looks like it is swollen. Might be a battle scar?

Go to http://cichlidmadness.com/ and post on there blog for central and south american cichlid plenty of smart people will answer your question not just people who say "idk" ...trust just go to the website and setup an account like you did for this website....i get all my help from the people of cichlidmadness...very very smart....this is my help to you....
