Board, Card & Dice Games

Just seen there is a 'Word' version of Rummikub!! hahaha I would so have bought it if it wasn't £40!! apparently far less popular lol and therefor is now rare.

Would be priceless playing that as a family!! 3/5 of us are dyslexic!! (scrabble is definitely not a favourite game here that's fer sure!)

My mum taugh me to play card games like Patience and Rummy and my dad taught us (three kids) to play poker! Was great until chores became the payment <.<

I have Scrabble on the iPad to keep me amused on long flights.

If I had people to play with, I'd own a monopoly board. And take my chess set out of the cupboard. Apart from that, just poker if I'm at a casino.

Nice one elrohir!  My hubby has an account on that site, he has owned far more games than me.  I'll have a look through some of your games.

I think our current favourites that you haven't already got are Dominion and Elder Sign (although they're more card games than board games but Elder Sign has the feel of a board game).

We've got friends around tonight so I'm looking forward to trying Pandemic and Tsuro with more players

Risk, Axis and Allies, Apples to Apples, The Game of Life, and of course Monopoly.
Anyone ever played Mafia with cards? Used to play it with the whole cabin at summer camp. :)

Ha would you believe - the mother in law brought over a box of old stuff from her attic and inside was a game of Rummikub!

Also I got Munchkin for my birthday, hope to play it this weekend :D

Arrrgghhhh!!!! Play Rummikub for me!! No one will play with me, they are all too busy :( Its always the same... come winter no one will play in the snow with me and go sledging or make snowmen etc... no one wants to do anything *grumps*

I even set the game up ready and was made to put it away :/

Awww!  That's terrible.  You need a hug for that!

I always build a snowman whenever it snows... or sometimes a snowcat... even now I've got kids, I'm still the one who builds the snowman as their hands always get too cold and they don't want to!

Played Game of Thrones for the first time last night.  Five of us, I played red (Lannisters) and eventually won, mainly because the girl next to me playing green had been awake since 5am and the game dragged on until 1am and she wanted it to finish lol!

Really good game, not as complicated as I expected.  Apparently it's only really worthwhile with 5 or 6 players though.
