Bn Plecs

Hi, i have 2 BN plecs and just wanted to know how fast they grow.
 
my current tank is over stocked and im cycling a new tank to transfer some fish over.
 
the reason i ask is ive heard they can be aggressive and when i bought them about 3/4 months ago they were both about 4cm and now one is about 9cm and growing very fast and the other is probably about 6cm if that, would it be the other is bullying the smaller one? and should i move it into another tank when its up and running or rehome it?

From what I read and I'm no expert they should be kept in either a breeding pair or on their own as they can get agressive over territory with eachother.

BNs aren't what I'd call aggressive, but they will shove each other about; especially over food. That sounds like what's happening between your two. I would separate them once your new tank's cycled
