I went to petsmart and they had these "blushing white skirt tetras" they looked very cool but different from regular white skirts. They were red in front and had dark beady eyes. So are these the same?

there is no such thing as blushing white skirt tetras. you lfs must have just made up a name. is it posible that they are dyed?

no there a new species grow up to 3inches best in group they are a cross breed bwetween neon and glass tetra they are very cool

you fool its a tetra that has a red diseased bulbish thing under the skin

no its across breed my uncle work with them as in breeds them.

i went back today and realized there just clear and the have the same scientific name as white skirt tetras. probly wrong though

Correct me if I'm wrong - but I was under the impression that two fish of the different genuses (I think it's genus?) cannot crossbreed - glass tetras being Moenkhausia oligolepis and neons being Paracheirodon innesi.

well im not sure if it was neons but i know for sure its has some glass tretas

i know they arent a cropss breed with neond i found that out
