I am really interested in keeping one of these in my up and coming 60g hex reef tank. I think they just look absolutely AWESOME. Here is a picture

I know that they are a difficult fish because they feed exclusively on flatworms (correct me if I am wrong). I know that this becomes even more complex because flatworms give off secretions that are toxic, so if you have TOO many then there may be a problem in your aquarium too?

I am wondering if my information is accurate and if anybody has kept these before. I assume you can culture flatworms, but I have never cultured any worms before.. is this a pain in the neck or is it reasonable? Any experience greatly appreciated, as I can't stop looking at this little guy..

Thanks,

Robert

Chelidonua Varians.

Feed exclusively on flatworms.

They will eat these at an enormous rate and unless you can cultivate huge amounts then it will starve.

I have never heard of anyone keeping these successfully in a home aquarium, (Probably due to the difficulty of keeping them).
