well i've had my bolivian rams for about 3 weeks now and when i look at them they both have little blue spots on their caudal fin and dorsal fins. the spots are on the top/rear part of the caudal fin (close to the body), and on the back of the dorsal fin. is this normal? should i be treating them for something? the neon tetras have no spots, nor do the peppered cories, and the ghost shrimp seem fine. stats are :
nitrate: 20
nitrite: 0
ammonia: 0
ph: 7.0

please let me know!

it's ok. i definetly know that i have bolivian rams and not blue rams. i asked one of the managers at elmer's (where i bought the fish: very knowledgeable people), and he said that it is normal, but the blue is usually hard to see. he said that if the red was really getting bright (which it is), that they are probably just getting ready to mate.
