This is sort of a follow on from the gravel thread below...

Ive been thinking about changing to black gravel for ages. Already got the back of the tank painted black.

Has anyone got any pictures of a tank with black gravel?

Would just like some ideas of how different fish and ornaments look against it.

Ive currently got a large piece of dark bogwood in the centre, and a black slate cave at each end, i dont know what the 'all black' theme will look like.

Thanks

Almost all of the seperate forums have pic sections. Just browse around a little. The African cichlid section has some great looking tanks if thats your thing.

well, ive seen tanks w/ only goldfish, w/ ryunkins and lionheads as the plants, and white gravelstones to have the gravel stand out

I got black gravel in my main tank, cost me a bomb,eco-complete with a tahitian moonsand foreground and I have decided that I really don't like it :(I have play sand in my little boy's tank and much prefer the more natural colours, the black also seems to look dirty to me all the time, though it gets cleaned as often as the sand.

Thank you for the replys.

That Betta tank is lovely LOOPS.

I didnt realise most threads had a photo section, found it now!

Thanks alot
