Black Ghost Knife Aggression

ive just noticed today that my black ghost knife was attaxking my ornate bichir

i always though ghosts knifes to be fairly laid back correct me if im wrong

my main concern is the 8" ghost knife is attacking the 13" ornate bichir if the bichir decides enough is enough i dont hold any hopes for BGK

if anyone has any experience with BGK getting a bit moody id love to hear em. as it is i may have to move the BGK on to a new home if this carries on the bichir wont have unlimited patience!

Mine can be aggresive at times. At the moment he is being interrigated for 3 missing fish. Don't know for sure if it was him but he is the only one big enough. One guy on here told me yes they can be aggresive.

its never been aggressive before. well i rephrase ive never seen it be aggressive before! the aggresion isnt the problem i exspect it from predators its the fact it wants to be aggressive with the biggest fish in the tank!

the one fish probly capable of killing it out right!!

6x2x2 but ghost knife now insists on sharing the same pvc tube as the bichir

i think the knife fish is going to the lfs!

Try putting a few more pipes into the tank to give the
BGK another option other then the one with the ornate

I took back a 12-14" BGK a couple of months back
because he got too aggressive

I don't know if the BGK is aggresive itself but i've heard if the light is left on too much that they'll become more aggresive because they can't sleep.

Well he's just a greedy sod then

Try putting some food in one of the other
pipes to try and get one of the two into
that one instead.

If not then good bye BGK;
If not at the lfs then in the ornates belly!
