Black Backgrounds.

I thought about painting it, But then thought well what if i want too change it in years too come, Or if i sell off the tank lol

A mirror could cause problems though depends on our stocking i suppose Could look awesome. But never thought of using Fabric. Awesome idea

i use mylar black sheeting which you can buy on ebay search for Hydroponics Mylar

Hey there.

Im just wondering where i would go about getting a black background for my 60ltr planted.

I just want a simple black background or something similar to go on the back So the focus is on the fish and plants.

Are there any home DIY ideas? or where can i buy them...


I dont want to paint my tank, just a heads up before you recommend tank paint

have u tryed the back off sticky back plastic the paper sheet that most people just throw away ? it has a great matt black finish

I just use black fleece fabric. Easy and inexpensive. No reflection either!

Providing you have a smallish tank why not think about a piece of wallpaper? Mine came courtesy of a local DIY shop...
