Well i went and got 5KGs off of another reefer leaving the hobby, It was about £40 with delivery for 5KGs and it will be here in the next few days. Its going in my FO tank, should i take the filter out and put the LR in? How should i do it?

What is your turnover rate? Live rock will only work if you have enough current. Just gut your filter if you don't want to rinse your floss every week or twice a week.

Well the filter does 185 GPH , which is just over 15 times the whole tank an hour. The tank is 12 gallons.

is it being shipped in water? if not you wont be able to directly add it to ur tank
