I used a product called microbe-lift GFCI It worked great! It was originally developed for ponds. Now they make it for fresh and salt water as well.

Tried the microbe-lift; It smiles bad; It does not seem to work for me; I am testing the SafeStart; Will try One and Only next if SafeStart won't work

There is NO magic cure... if there was, it would cost £20 a bottle, and we all would be raving about it ! (and buying it !)

I've used a product called BioZyme. I'm a skeptic too, but this stuff did seem to work.

Tested these three products on my old and new tanks

Safe Start
Bio Spira
stability

Safestart works within a week
Bio Spira works within a week
Stability does not work

I use Safestart more becasue it is cheapper than BioSpira.
