bigist tank ive seen

Unfortunatly the Red Tailed Cat will make a meal out of some of the other fish in there sooner or later. But wouldn't we all love to have a tank that big. :)

Kind of "BLAH" to me ... It's an awesome idea, just to empty for me. It needs more decor.

Ahhh the ideas I am cooking up for something like that :D

(I wish there was a drooling smilie)

It's a very cool tank but I agree with kmurph - it needs so much more decor!! Now if I had a tank that size (and I really wish I had!! ) it would be full of brilliant plants and huge lumps of driftwood and rocks and all kinds of cool fish!! :fun: :fun:

If only...

I agree with the part about decorations, but when you think about it, decorating a tank like that would be very hard (and extremely expensive) thing to do. You would need about half a ton of gravel, and Tree trunks for driftwood. plants would be very hard to get in a big enough size to be even noticeable from outside the tank.
But Think about what it would look like with Tree truck driftwood and 300 Lbs boulders

Yah, I was just wondering about water changes... Imagine doing even a 25% water change for that! A tank that size would be cool to look at, but I wouldn't like having it in the long run. I think about 150 gal would be the limit for me.

1 I never use dechlor. just let water sit for 2 days... now I use RO and dont let it sit at all.

If you hook up an ro to that thing you could just let it run. It would do say 20 25 gallons a day just let the extra over flow into the drain or garden if you live in a warm climent... hmm thats 0 water changes. (15 - 20 % water changed for you).

So, if you let your tap water sit for two days there is no need for dechlor? Sorry for my newbie question, but what is RO?
