That's why we don't put common plecos in ten gallon tanks

Our biggest are a six inch L027 Royal Panaque called BigJif, and a six inch common called Stewart who lives with Martha.

What's the red arrow pointing to? I can't quite make it out, but I think it's another fish...

My common is around 3 inches .......Recently saw a 21 inch common in a 6100 gallon pond (friend of my cousin) I didn't blv it was a fish at first looking from the brigde  That is the only succesful person I have heard of breeding plecos !

Well, this is my beautiful gibby Pepas. It measures around 18 centimeters, somewhere in the neighborhood of 7+ inches.
Pepas' been with me since last summer. It also has an attitude problem; It won't let any cory or any other bottom dweler swim around its domain.

Yes that's another fish at his tail to demonstrate size :flex:

EDIT: Wrong URL for pic

My common (?) is 12" Long at the mo, you can see him here lurking at the back of the tank with some danios to size him against. He keeps rearranging my tank and gravel, any experienced keepers here with tips to stop this would be very gratefully accepted!

This is Charlie My Bulldog plec!!!
He's about 4.5-5 inch long and craps like a donkey with the squits!
I'm designing a streamlined "fish-ass bag" to attach to him to catch all his crap!!!
Funny thing is I never see him eat a dam thing! I drop in algae tabs and he ignores them and my sharks eat em!!! All he does is clean his slate! Must be where he gets all his grubb from!!!

Here's an old pic I have of him when he lived in my 16g! He might not be massive but he's cute!

I think my Bnose is maxed out at 6"
Hes about 4 years old. He has so many bristles! i will get a pic of him.

Oh boy, you all have some great fish. I have an 11" common pleco, Peanut, who is about 5 years old. It was given to me by my niece who had the poor thing in a 5 gallon tank. I've had him for about 5 months now in my 75g and he must have grown another inch or two! Peanut makes such a mess that I have to vacuum the gravel every other day, but he sure is cool!
