Why is it no matter what size tank ones got,you always want one bigger...

i started with a 30l,within 2 months it went to a 90l,few months after that i upgraded again to a 55 gal!

Now i want a 75 gal,but haven't the room for a bigger one...

Whys aquarium keeping so addictive??

I started with a 15L last July for 1 goldfish i won, small i know but wasnt clued up then.
By the September I had a 165L and got rid of the 15L
I then also bought a 25L for a male betta.
Wanted more bettas so bought a 60L and divided it.
Then decided I was to breed bettas so got another 25L and a 80L

All 5 are up and running :)
After a bigger one now to replace my 165L

SOOO ADDICTIVE!!!

:D

I'd have a Rio 240 if I could, but seeing as I still live with my Mum that is just not possible :/.

I remember when my Rio 180 arrived in March and I couldn't get over how HUUUUGE it was...and less than a week later I was sulking because it wasn't big enough! Already started saving to upgrade to 300l+ in a year or so. And family just don't get it!

I get like that. My Rio 240 was MASSIVE when I got it. It was the biggest fish tank in the whole world! now (6 years later) and for some time, I look at it and think "god, isn't it small..!" I'd love a 6 footer but it wouldn't fit in the space so I'm contenting myself with upgrading to a Rio 400 when I can.

6x2x2 is my next pitstop  might not be for a year mind. Going to stuff it with corys :D

Just built myself a studio desk that was 6x2 and all i can picture in my mind was a 6x2x2 fish tank on top of it!!
If i knew 100% the floor upstairs would of held it, i'd prob of went along with it!!

Haha this thread is great, its also very true :good:

I started with a 35L Biube, then my Rio 180L (40Gal) and now I have upgraded to a Rio 300L (65Gal). All in the space of around 3 years I have now officially got no more room for a bigger tank and yes I do still live at home lol, sometimes they all think im mad

 - i know that feeling well!
I could move my 6ft settee out to make way for a bigger tank, but i don't think my family would appreciate sitting on the floor!!

I'm glad i'm not the only one, keep them coming :)
