and this is my question is there another pleco that looks like a big whitespot pleco that grows about up to 6 inches ?

Hey Jakey,
Starlight pleco looks reasonably alike,

ite,
dats quite a nice pleco ,
how big does it grow and how much would they cost?

there are lots of other black plecs with white spots.

We are currently breeding some black spotted Bristlenoses which, looking at the latest Aqualog books, appear to be L183's relatively rare and about £30-£40 for a nice adult.
Our fry are too small to sell at the moment though :(

You could have a look for Flyer Plecos aswell - get to about 6" - they are in the same price range though.
others that stay small would be an L201 spotted Hypancistrus - will get to about 4-5" max

the one major difference with all of these plecs is that they have small white spots rather than the striking "big white spot".

[edit] actually the 201 isn't the plec i thought it was - it looks like a perfect fit for what you want - its spots are bigger than i thought ;)

hi,
thanks for the advice i am not setting up my tank for a wile,
will you sell your black spotted bristle nose pleco ??(the babies)

When the time comes we will.

They are a lot slower growing than our commons...
Either that or I'm just in a rush for them to grow :)
