I have no idea what a target catfish is but if it was me i would rehome the mozambique mouth brooder the jewel and the Kenyi and possible the target catfish and go for a south america themed tank with the oscar and sailfin as the two centre pieces, with possibly a shoal of silver dollars and a few Sa catfish

Its very nice of you to take the time and effort to do that CFC :good:

 i can think of a few people who would disagree greatly with you there, but thankyou :)

As for the stocking of the tank i'd lose the kenyi personally, rift lake cichlids really need to be in rift lake biotopes with rock work and can be a bit too aggressive for inclusion in non rift lake communities, but thats just my personal take on them.
Your 96x19" tank gives you a lot of options of the non tankbuster variety, just avoid anything with a potential adult size above around 12-14"

ok im just throwing this out there so i think u chould get rid of the malwies ( not sure on spelling) i would get a shoal of silver dollors then a schoal of pictus cats like 4 or 5 :shifty:
