Yes you'll have to change the current because bettas like either a soft current to no current. You could get 5 to 6 females or 1 male and a few corys. The temp is good, are you using a heater in the tank?

When you say corys do you mean these corys as my lfs has some albino ones

Yeah fish like that but you can get any kind of cory your lfs carrys.

gotmy betta and corries (2 bronze one albino) today, also got a stock of frozen blood worm and they didnt have betta pellets so i got beta flakes for now.

they do but most people only feed it if they got constipation you could feed it once every weeks or so to help clear out the system

yeah was thinking oncea week as a treat sort of thing.

so i have betta flakes, blood worm (frozen), peas, cucumber, soon to get betta pellets.Anything else to feed them
