Bettas And Meatballs

Hey..

is it bad for bettas to eat meatballs.. not the whole just a bit.. lol..... I gave him a tiny piece and he ate it!

Im just wondering cuz he seemed like he enjoyed it.

iam not sure but its probably best if you feed him his normal food as you dont know what effect it may cause on him as they do have quite a bit of oil

Yea i'd stick to his regular diet but if you notice no signs of complications you could probably give a little to him as a treat like every few months or so as to not make him to fat or make him picky for it.

It probably all depends on what's in the meatball. I'm sure some recipes are better than others for fish I bet.
I do agree with Loko though about feeding a tiny bit every few months.
